Biography
Ever since he was a child, Alex has had a deep fascination with cars. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he attended the local, nationally-renowned Back to the 50s car show annually. He and his father spent countless hours around classic cars and hot rods of all variety. Learning about the inner workings of these machines was the first order of business. Inevitably, his sights eventually turned to racing. After years of watching Formula 1, IndyCar, and the FIA World Endurance Championship, Alex took the plunge and decided to get his competition license.
He graduated from the Skip Barber Racing School's beginner and advanced courses at Road Atlanta. He showed promise, and was subsequently invited to participate at the 2015 Skip Barber Racing Academy Shootout, where he showed off his clean, consistent driving style. In 2016, his debut season, Alex raced in the F2000 Championship Series with Momentum Motorsports. In December of 2016, he joined SSR Engineering for his first endurance race in the World Racing League. He spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons racing with SSR and Casey Carden Motorsports in the World Racing League, picking up wins at both Daytona International Speedway and Road Atlanta.
